One, I am not in their adoption areas.... and two, at almost 3 lbs at 4 months old, she'll likely grow to be 5 - 7 lbs, I'd guess.
I also saw little Ricky, who is beautiful.... but ... (other than he is a boy) 
I have both children AND large dogs.... so no chance with that rescue either...
As well, while I certainly am willing to take on a special needs baby, I don't think I could venture into a 900.00 adoption fee for a little guy with Legg-Perthes in both hind hip joints who could need further surgeries and rehab. (I hope that doesn't sound horrible!)
