 Careless Groomer
Hi Everyone...
Today Gucci got her first puppy shave, lately her hair has been really bad. I brush it everyday but it gets so knotty and matty.So my friend whom has a yorkie always has her dog shaved. I figured it will grow in better..When my daughter went to pick her up they told her they nicked her neck and to take her to the vet. They will pay the bill. I was soo mad. Make a long story short it is superficial the vet said , and put a glue bandage on it, she said to watch that it doesnt get infected and to treat it 2x a day with some solution.. I will never go back to that groomer.
I feel guilty now she looks like a hotdog, still has that beautiful face. Was I wrong in shaving her at this age?, she is 7 mos. From experience do their hair grow back in nice and healthy?
