We have a dog cruelty case in our town right now - one groomer is accused of feeding antifreeze laced food to a competitor's dogs!!! (I will keep all my editorials on the case to myself here as they can't be printed.) She had requested a change of venue that was denied. Her attorney was on the radio saying that today, cruelty to children or animals gets far bigger reactions and stirs the passions of people more than murder.
