Over and over again, I see responses from people that either didn't fully read the previous posts or, as in this case, they take what is written out of context. This is why I usually don't respond to responses. However, to clarify my position ...

I KNOW they are NOT of show quality. My point was that facially, they LOOK very much like the standard - like AKC Yorkshire Terriers.
It appears to me like you girls are
giving the impression that small dogs
will have health problems and that non-small and AKC registered dogs do not. To be fair, generally this may be true, but is NOT ABSOLUTE. To the OP and others who may be concerned with this issue... Point of fact - Our 'teapot' yorkie we got from a small kennel, who, at that time, bred exclusively Yorkies, is AKC registered and weighs 14 lbs. She looks less like a Yorkie than these Velvet Touch Yorkies, she's had both knees operated on for LP, she's got allergies and other health issues. In addition, frankly, she's a little neurotic.
I've read many posts from YTers who have NOT had health issues with their small Yorkies.
In closing, all I ask is for us to use a little more discretion, restraint, and understanding when discussing other kennels, their breeding practices, dog sizes, appearances, etc.
