I think you did the right thing by yelling at her, because she needs to learn right now that she canNOT bite. I'd suggest you don't go near her when she's eating, because she might just blindly snap at you to protect her food.
She's bitten the cat twice, and I think that's enough to put him in his place. If she does it again, I'd reccomend a time out or something. Good luck! |

i put her in her crate.. not as a punishment.. but i think she needs to calm down.. the cat has gone back to the basement... Layla was too scared to go back to her food so i put it up and maybe i'll just try and feed her some place that is jsut for her from now on.. where the cat can't go... i just wish we never took the cat... i'm so upset i could cry... she is looking at me with these big eyes... as if to say i'm sorry.... i'm hoping she is just out of whack because we just got home from vacation yesterday and she is just readjusting...
