Great news on Lexi today.

Seem's like hours drag by slowly waiting for that time to call the vet for an update huh? I am real happy that you can sigh with relief knowing it's over.
Just out of curiosity since Schatzie too will need to be spayed soon. What type of instructions did you receive for Lexi once she is home with you? Also, what parts on the body did they shave (prep) for surgery?
Will she have any special restrictions? I am such a worry wart over these types of things (surgery). Maybe if I hear from you "oh piece of cake for Lexi, no restrictions, that she's a happy little camper, etc") I might be more at ease to call the vet sooner.
Carter's Mom had no difficulties either with Carter. (yeah to him) Yet, he was neautered and I was curious on the "female" ends of things with being spayed.
It's not that Im NOT gonna call her vet to schedule the spaying, it's just she just got done having surgery not too long ago and it's just killing me to have to put her through this again. She was in MEGA pain and misery from her recent surgery. Just broke my heart!

...But now I am reading posts that it is safer to have surgery before their first heat cycle. Well, being that Schatzie is going on 10 months in March Im guessing she will be in heat any day. I don't want to cause her MORE harm by waiting to spay just because of my own worries and such.
I know I asked you a lot of questions...Sorry
