That is one question I did ask the vet...if it was ok for the puppy to nurse with her mama taking the antibiotics. He said, "Yes." The pup seems to be getting milk, but has to work harder for it and changes nipples alot more frequently. Lily only has the one pup so Holly doesn't have to compete with any litter mates for the supply that is there!
