My Lily has a 15 day old pup and she is taking antibiotics for colitis. It seems to have slowed down her milk production. Is it from the antibiotics or from the diarreah that she had? She had diarreah just one day with blood in it so I took her in right away. (I had given her a different dog food.) She started the antibiotics yesterday morning and has not had any diarreah since then. If it is the antibiotics that are drying her up I am tempted not to do the full one week. I do not want her pup to be deprived.
Any advice?
