 tip about washable pads
If any of you live by a nursing home/hospital, if you go to the laundry department, you can ask them for the "rag out" pads. I am in charge in part, of the laundry at our hospital, when pads start breaking down, they have to rag them out so it wont irritate the patients skin. We used to donate them to the animal shelter along with old blankets and such until they just didnt need them anymore. So we trashed them, then one day I went to a yorkie specialty show and we were all talking about pads, What Im I stupid or what? Anyway, I take the ragged out pads now for my own use and supply just about all my friends with yorkies. Just a thought. May save you all some money. L. |
