Are you feeding only canned food? The more canned food they get, the less they will drink because of all the moisture in it. That is why canned food is so good for them (if it is a premium kind).
Please do not give chicken soup. It is very salty. You should only give low sodium broth if you want to give that but I would still be uncomfortable. Dogs can only process so much salt and excess can lead to kidney problems.
