I used a X-pen in the house to contain the puppy. This way I did not have to place him in the crate so often in betweeen trips outside.
Last year on December 29 when I brought my pup home I immediately began training him to go outside. Although it seems colder this year in New York, I bought Remi a coat, sweater, and raincoat. I needed extra warm clothing for myself too. I stuck to the routine I established, even in inclement weather, and I can say that it has paid off! |
