when an invitation says to RSVP by...
do you usually RSVP? do you invite other people to this person's party without permission? is it okay to to do that?
i only ask because a friend was telling me to go to her friends daughter's 1st bday and bring my daughter... and first, i don't know the person... i don't have a present... and we weren't invited..
and my friend was saying it doesn't matter it's a party...
and from my standpoint it does matter.. because when i throw a party, i'd like people to RSVP so i know how many people to expect to be there for food count, party favors etc.. i'll have extra of course, but i'd like it if peole were to tell me they were bringing their extra friends if that makes sense, as this happened to me at my daughter's 1st birthday.. she invited a lot of her friends and their kids an di didn't want them to feel left out so i had to have my hubby run out and get more items for their kids...
so my friend told me i was just being stupid lol.. that if it's a party, everyone's invited..
but i used to think like that too, until i had my daughter and it was me planning everything etc..
am i just over reacting? lol maybe it's the pregnancy hormones.. i seemed to always get irritable anyways
