i guess since his crate is also in your room and that is his bed, he's take your whole room to be his bed. This is good. Keep doing this for a while and then slowly give him access to the rest of the rooms in your house, one at a time. if you do this slowly he will probably adapt the whole house as his 'bed' and not go potty inside. giving them free access to the house too soon will just allow them to go potty where ever they want and sleep somewhere else.
