Every vet I have discussed this with has said that if you do nothing for a grade 2 or higher, the dog may very likely have debilitating arthritis later in life. It was suggested that I start Gracie on Glucosamine. So, it looks like Gracie will have the first of 2 surgeries sometime next month.
Sorry ladies I know this post is a little old, but I was wondering where you can purchase the glucosamine? Teddy has been lifting his back leg once in a while - it almost looks like a spasm so I don't know if it is his bone or a muscular thing. I made an appointment for Tuesday, but I figure the glucosamine would be a good supplement any way.
