My husband took my 3 children and me to see a show and they did check our bags and neither of us had large bags.
If you do not have tickets for a show yet you may have trouble getting some, especially if you are only going to be there Sunday night.
I wouldn't take a chance on getting asked to leave. Not at $111.00 a ticket.
