My new one does that occasionally, it's like she's gasping for air, she doesn't do it very often, now, my oldest yorkie(she's 14 lbs and almost 5 years) has reverse sneezing attacks quite often, but, it sounds completely different than the pups. With the oldest one, she always comes over to me and I pick her up..they aren't breathing out of their mouths at that time, so, you need to get them to open their mouth and breath..it scares my yorkie and it scares me more..
