Stress or a change in diet can cause blood in the stool. I found this out with my Bella and oh boy it scared the daylights out of me. I brought her in to the dr to make sure her stool tested negative for worms/parasites and we ended up coming to the conclusion that it was the food switch I had recently done. I put her on a boiled chicken and rice diet for a few days and then back to her old food and all was good in the world.
It isn't something you should mess with and hopefully your vet has Saturday hours and you can get her in for a check, at the least I would start feeding chicken and boiled rice now and make sure she is drinking plenty of water. |
