I wanted to thank you again for all of the sound advice you gave me after I adodpted Duke. I really appreciate all of your support!
Duke has been in our household for two weeks now, and he has made remarkable progress! He no longer snaps at us when we try to pet him or pick him up, and he actually runs up to us so that we will pick him up! Woo hoo!
You were all correct when you told me that with time and patience, Duke would come around and realize that we just wanted to love him.
Duke loves his new home, toys and his new wardrobe! I can't believe how much fun it is to dress him! I've ordered St. Patrick's Day and Easter sweaters for him, as well as some jammies and a few fleece outfits to keep him warm while he plays outside.
I will be posting photos of Duke soon so that you can all meet him and see how adorable he is.
