I also live in New York, but 100 miles away from you on Long Island. What I would suggest is that you call your vet for good recommendations. Either that or ring up your breeder and ask her/him if she could board your dogs while your away. This is what my husband and I are going to do for several days in February. It is always stressful for us to leave our Remi. When we leave him overnight we leave him at the vet's office. For longer stays we feel much better leaving him where we know he will be cared for properly.
