My husband and I have a king size bed and safety has always been important as I'm terrified one of our furbabys will fall trying to get up or down. I know for a fact that Sophie can make the jump onto the high bed but I don't want her straining herself as she is determined to get up at all cost. So be bought what we call a pet condo where they can lay either inside or on top. It came with a flimsy wooden steps that I didn't like too much because they were to thin, so instead we bought the pet steps seperately. It works perfectly they use the steps to come up and down on the bed and when one is tired and doesn't want to be bothered she'll just go right into the little Condo and goes to sleep. And we can have peace of mind that their safe.
