Potty training is an art form with this breed but it can be done. I think the tinies can be easier if they use potty pads. The thing that makes it hard is they are so small it is hard to notice when they are doing a potty dance to go outside. Shelby uses potty pads and she was a breeze to train. She is also the most cuddly dog you could ever imagine. And she loves everyone, thinks that everyone is out for a walk in the mornig to see her

and she greets them accordingly.
Which is one more reason not to make size so important that you forget all that other stuff. Like temperment and beauty of the breed. It's a package deal when you buy from a good breeder.
