does it feel silky like satin also??

If it does then don't worry, my cousin has a yorkie with short hair to the body and he didn't have long hair until about 8-9mths but when it grew it caught up quickly with my yorkie's hair length.THE key here is the texture if it is silky then you are fine but if not maybe you should post pics could be a redleg or some other thing going on.
