Daddy is better
Yesterday, he was given a bi-lateral nerve block on 3 of the vertebrae in his back and the pain started easing off about 5 hours later. He's on some really high powered pain meds along with a drug that works thru the neurological system.
He's still in the hospital and all the rest of his tests have come back good. He still has an embolism in his lung, but he is on blood thinners for it.
The surgeons are talking about cauterizing the nerve endings in the 3 vertebrae that are bad? Has anyone ever heard of that?
