I can't recall of Sully ever having this problem. I mean he still might have knee problems one day, I hope not, but my uncle's yorkie (of no relation to Sully) was 6yrs old when he had to have his surgery.

The vet has never checked Esme's knees and I never thought of it before because I thought she was too young to have knee problems... I guess I should take her in though and have him look at her. I did run into a couple at Einstein Bagals once and they told me about their yorkie and a VERY expensive knee surgery. Their girl was older though...
I would pay for anything Esme needed, but geez, I hope she doesn't need surgery!
