I think it depends more on the dog. I got my baby when she was 4 months and weighed 4.5 lbs. She stayed under 5 lbs until she was about 9 months and then when she was 14 months weighed 7.5. She has stayed at that weight and will be 2 in April. Wow how fast they grow!
