I don't know if it's considered a postal one? I think it is though. I use it to weigh my stuff for ebay and I compared it to my postal scale at work and it was the same. It measures in ounces - most of my ebay stuff is 2or 3 ounces and it measures to the tenth of an ounce. It also measures in grams and you can go back and forth between grams or ounces by pushing a button. And you can place a basket on it and then set it to zero so when I weigh Zoe, I put the basket on, set to zero and then put her in to get her actual weight. Hope that makes sense.
