And I was so afraid Chewy would either hate the new pup or love her and not us ny more... But he loves her and loves us... he is a year and a half and maybe the age has something to do with it. He does get a sad look sometimes when we are paying attention to Sadie, but we pay so much attention to him and it;s been just about two weeks so he seems to be doing really good.

Maybe this is an age thing. Pay tons of attention to the older dog and give some treats when the pup isn't looking.... The way to their heart is through the stomach! Go on some walks with the older dog too to get some one on one bonding time!
