Sorry to hear about your little angel. I have an 11 year old female yorkie who has had the surgery twice. She's fine and can outrun our 5 year old male. It is critical however that you keep her quiet during the recovery stage. My little gal wanted to be running and jumping up on furniture the day after surgery. It was a constant struggle to keep her quiet but well worth the end results.
