Which is exactly why I try so hard to keep my emotions in check. It's so easy to, in your own pain, not see the other side, but I live my life trying to see both (or more) sides of everything. There are even times when our "beloved" patients are being horrible to their caregivers. Maybe we need a sign for
them to remember their caregivers too.
Bless those of you caregivers who have the strength to do it well, and bless those who need some help with it. And patience and understanding to all the rest of us.
