I love all dogs, but there's something about a Yorkie. So to answer your question as to whether or not it's Yorkies in particular that cause this reaction, I would have to say YES! And Morkies, Maltese, etc. too. Yorkies and similar dogs seem almost human IMHO. Welcome to YT.
