Hello everyone,
My mom's 8 year old yorkie, Ally, started acting very funny last night around 5 am. She began panting and wanting to be held at all times. This is very unlike Ally because she is usually very independent an aloof.

We are going to give her a puppyease pill to hopefully calm her a bit. We have had extreme cold (in Miami's standards anyways) for the past two days, could this be a reason for her behavior? She has a warm sweater on and is indoors but we are just considering it...

Another thing is that Ally has epilepsy so we assumed that she was going to have an episode but she hasn't at all. We are getting concerned and are just curious if anyone has seen this behavior before and may know what it is...

Or should we call the vet....
