No, they are not cropped!! Did your Vet honestly think that cropping is normal procedure for a Yorkie? If so, I would rethink my Vet selection.. If my Vet thought that Yorkies should have their ears cropped, I'm not sure I would trust him for an emergency. I would call around for a Vet with lots of Yorkie experience. I would also make some calls if there is indeed scar tissue.
He is a cutie, and as long as you keep them shaved, they'll come up.
