Hi, my vet used stitches that were on the inside and these stitches dissolved on their own so Jazzie did not pick. However I was prepared with an infant shirt (preemie) that has snaps at the bottom, I put her in the tshirt the first night. I realized the next day that she did not need it. Just suggesting.
