When my girls are close I let them sleep in my bed with me. If labor starts - you know it and have plenty of time to move them. I keep their whelping area ready for them.
I just like to keep them close to me. I know when things are starting and always have plenty of time.

Now this may be a mistake but yesterday I took the frame off of the bed, so that the bed is closer to the floor-hoping that she doesn't hurt herself jumping up, no jumping this close to due date, right??? Now I don't know what to do, she has slept in bed all her life, and I don't have a lot of time to change her mind. Has anyone ever had this problem??? |
