It's always hard to incorporate another into the mix. I have 6, I know! But I would also consider that the dog it doesn't get along with is a pug. Not that that is a bad thing, just a breed that can be difficult. This is 'just my opinion'. I believe that your Esme is a Yorkie too. I would think that the new one and yours would probably get a long better than a pug. Again, JMO! I have heard that pugs can be more dominant.

It's just something to consider.
