Congratulations on your new pup.....it does sound like typical puppy behavior with the biting and sleeping....The pup is teething and just being a puppy..... you just have to be consistent in removing your hands from the biting and firmly say "no" without shouting...it will get better but probably not for a while.....

I'm sure some other members will be logging on soon to help you in the chew recommendations.....and Welcome to Yorkie Talk....

I might add there is a "Training" section that might give you some ideas also...
