Koda sleep like a baby right on my lap when he first came home. I would try to transfer him into his crate, but nooo, he just kept waking up and crying for me to take him out and put him on my lap again.
How old is your little Cash? He sure is adorable.
I don't have a clue about the ear problem, but I am sure someone else can help you with that.
