Purina and others aren't very high quality foods...check out
www.dogfoodanalysis.com and do some research there, as well as other sources from the internet. The dog food analysis website will give you some ideas about what is in the foods, and the common practices of the food manufacturers so that you understand how to read the ingredient labels. Most people here on YT recommend a 4-5 star food from that site-a 6 star food is too rich for yorkies, and is better suited for larger, working breed dogs.
