You have to pay yearly property taxes and such.

For our measley lil 3 bedroom (worth about 100,000) on an acre in a semi-rural area, property taxes run about $1000 a yr. I can't imagine what it would be forr a house that nice in Key west.

I always love the HGTV dream houses. I think if I won I would vaction in it for a wk or two, then sell it. ANd buy a resonably priced house in SC.
