I've never used the Laura Mercier, but maybe I'll have to try it now that it sounds so good! But just in case someone wants something a little less expensive, Olay makes one that I really like called Complete Plus (tinted)...it's a moisturizer with a tint in it....it's perfect for days that you don't want to wear makeup or have time to put it on but are going out and don't want to scare people, LOL.....I got it at Walmart today for about $9 a tube (it comes in a box). I had bought it before and really liked it but couldn't find it again til today....I think they just repackaged it into a box and charged more for it...W/E....it's really pretty good for the price.

The idea of using half moisturizer and half makeup is interesting....I too, have some that's too dark for me at this time of year so it would be good to use it up (or at least as much as I can) before it's a year old! Thanks for the suggestions!
