I dont think you are coming on too strong at all. I think many people dont really think about yorkies being in rescues when they are thinking about getting a yorkie. I know I would have never thought of it before. I couldnt imagineanyone would give up a yorkie and put it in a shelter. You are educating people and letting them know they are out there and need homes and I am glad you are doing that for them. Alot of times when people contact me to buy a dog, I tell them about yorkie rescues and try to get them to rescue one if at all possible instead.
