I believe it's normal for ears to go up and down during the teething stage (I believe that is well past 5 months) So I wouldn't be surprised if you notice them going up and down a lot. If your dog has thicker hair like mine and you don't shave the tips, there's a better chance they will stay down. I love down ears, and when just the tips are down I think it's even more cute!!!
