Well, young thing, I'm a grandma from Hillsboro, KS. It's about 1 hr. 20 min. southeast of you. Had a son graduate and get his masters from K-State, one that graduated from KU, and a daughter in Pharm school at KU now. Kind of a "divided" house around here. Welcome to YT. It's a great place to get information. Have three Yorkies-2 seniors females that were rescues-5lbs. and 3 lbs. and and impulse purchase 11 yr. old male Yorkie. I also have a 7 mo. white pommie rescue. Love my doggies. Heard on TV about empty nesters getting pets. I definitely fall in that category.
