I should probably clarify why I wouldn't leave Ellie. When she had oral surgery I was fine with leaving her after (after the anesthesia wore off). I was nervous with the spay because I did let her stay in a onesie and if she would've gotten it off she could've gotten to her incision. Her incision was also very large and she had about 20 staples. There is always a chance that something can go wrong and the could split open or something else could gp wrong and I wouldn't catch it in time. I worry way too much with her.
