[Lexi's Mom]

I know you all can relate. Lexi is at the vet being spayed today and I'm a nervous wreck. If you can remember, she went in last month only to find out that her protein levels were too high and the vet wasn't comfortable with doing the surgery without further testing. All tests have returned normal except that the protein levels are still high. My vet posted her test results to a veternarian forum and an internal medicine vet answered that it could just be a "yorkie thing". I'm still scared for her, though. I don't like any abnormal test results, however unharmful they may be. The vet made the decision to spay her despite the protein levels, after considering the cons of not doing it. I'm so worried!

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Now if I could just get rid of this lump in my stomach...
