I know a lot of Yorkies that are like that. Some of mine would never think about going to a stranger and others would be wanting to be picked up and petted. It sounds like your Gizmo has bonded to you and wants nothing to do with anyone else. That is fairly typical Yorkie behavior. My first Yorkie I got when she was 7 months old and she was not socialized with other people at all. She would be terrified if someone she did not know tried to pet her. She is now 11 years old and she has never liked strangers but she is my little shadow. I don't know which is worse, a stuck-up Yorkie or a overly friendly one.
