I think it is great that she wants to help the baby squirrels but the issues that arise from this are...

1) squirrel becomes used to humans and trusting bad idea as there are some pretty nasty people out there.

2) The squirrels become used to dogs. Another bad idea because there are so many dogs that will not look on them in the same manner as her lovely yorkie is and will in fact hurt them.

I would refer them to a wildlife rescue who deal with this sort of thing myself as they are more able to rear them in a fashion where the squirrels do not become too human and animal friendly.

Just my opinion though
