We whelp all of our litters on the bed. I have a very large wicker basket that I put on our bed and it is well lined. I assist all my mommas with their delivery. After the deliver is over I put them in their whelping box with a heat pad in a different bedroom. Will this be your first litter? Another big help is to use the disposable bed pads. I buy mine from Wal-mart and they work great for absorbing all the fluids. |
