I just want to make a point, here. These animals might not be released into adoptive homes for a while. If charges are brought, the animals will need to be kept as evidence, In that case, they are very carefully watched and fostered til after the hearing AND (this is the real SAD thing) the courts might find her not guilty and allow her to have them back.. That has happened here in MD. Hope N.Y. is different..
