We've had a few close calls with other dogs though so I tend to pick her up now when we see another dog until I know if it's going to think she's a snack or if it's friendly. We keep her crate in the trailer for the few times that we leave her in it alone (w/ heat or a/c on) but she usually goes everywhere with us. She's a true camping dog!

We, too, are a bit precautionary when it comes to other dogs at campgrounds. We usually use the stroller if we are in an area that has many people/dogs. It really makes it easier and less stressful on us AND the dogs.
Of course, they LOVE their walks, too! It is fortunate that I am an early riser and so we try to do that early in the morning before everyone else gets started!
